PRS S2 Custom 24-08

About This Instrument

I had an S2 Standard 24 for 5 years. I traded it in when I purchased another PRS guitar. Trade-in seemed like the logical thing to do, but I missed it terribly. I know it is just an object, but I still missed it. I went to my local guitar store looking for a suitable replacement. Specifically, I looked at an S2 anniversary edition and a CE 24 because they had the 85/15 pickups. Those guitars were good, but had a significant volume dropoff when playing in single coil mode. I looked into it a little more and found this beauty. The 24-08 coil-split mini-toggles for some reason don't have as much volume drop when switched to single coil. It sings like the old S2 I had and it has more tone options because of the pickup switches. Feels good, plays good, sounds good!
